During childhood, our aims keep changing from being a doctor, engineer, pilot, actor to what not. But one thing that remains constant in all our such desires is the fact that we all want to do something big, something that earns us a name and reputation. But unlike other kids of her age, this 7-year-old girl, Chloe Bridgewater has not just decided what she wants to be but has also set her eye on the global tech giant Google. Yes! The lil’ girl wishes to work at Google as one of the smartest minds in the world and has also written a letter to Google CEO, expressing her desire to work there.
Google’s office. Haven’t you all dreamed of having a job in an office like that. Well, I guess ‘office’ is an underrated term for a place where Google employees work. With tube slides instead of stairs, ping-pong tables, secret ladder, kick scooters to zoom around the office, drive- in theatres, yoga classes to free healthy snacks, Google’s office has everything to make you love your work. Who would not like to work in a place like that. The office and its ambience is alluring enough for anybody and so is for this lil kiddo who loves computers, is fascinated by the idea of sitting on bean bags and so wants to work for Google. She in her letter to Google boss said, “My name is chloe and when I am bigger I would like a job with google. I also want to work in a chocolate factory and do swimming in the olympics, I go swimming on Saturday and a Tuesday. My dad said I can sit on bean bags and go down slides and ride go karts in a job in google.”
She further said, “I like computers too and have a tablet I play games on. My dad gave me a game where I have to move a robot up and down squares, he said it will be good for me to learn about computers. My dad said he will get me a computer one day,” seems like the little one has already taken her big step towards grabbing the job she wants.
Must say that the kid is smarter as she has also tried to impress by her skill sets, saying, “I am 7 years old and my teachers tell my mom and dad I am very good in class and am good at my spelling and reading and my sums.”
Wasn’t it intelligent and cute of her at the same time? Well, cute or not, but the letter surely received the reply it should, from Google CEO Sundar Pichai himself who said, “Dear Chloe,Thank you so much for your letter. I’m glad that you like computer and robots, and hope you will continue to learn about technology. I think if you keep working hard and following your dreams, you can accomplish everything you set your mind to — from working at Google to swimming in the Olympics. I look forward to receiving your job application when you are finished with school! All the best to you and your family.”
With this encouraging response, the girl must be really happy and dying to grow up to be a part of internet biggie, Google.
